A gliadin-free diet should be considered in cases of elevated Antigliadin IgA. Research has noted that dogs with gastrointestinal disease had increased antigliadin antibodies. It was identified in 54% – 75% of dogs with gastrointestinal disease, compared to just 6% of healthy dogs.
